ON-SITE MATERIAL TESTING
HJL Contracting can advise, assist and arrange many types of testing for various reasons including disposal or re-use. Testing of material is mandatory and is required to ensure the material is disposed of correctly and within regulations. From trommel fines to hazardous site clearances, we will provide the most suitable test for your specific requirements. WAC tests cannot classify Waste/Soils’ for acceptance and therefore the most suitable test would usually be a full Reception Suite sampling, including TPH, PAH, pH, Metals and Asbestos. Once we are in receipt of the results we can offer the closest facility for disposals, avoiding the standard rate landfill tax when possible.
DISPOSAL OPTIONS
We can offer disposal options for all hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams. We can arrange the disposal of materials both competitively and in a compliant manner. From 1 tonne to 100,000 tonne, all enquiries welcomed. We will naturally aim to provide disposal options close to the waste producing site to reduce carbon emissions and transport costs. We hold very close relationships with facilities who accept both Wastes' and Soils’ with regular disposal-slots available.
TOTAL SITE MANAGEMENT
Our experienced site managers are expert in waste categorisation and on-site testing, to complement this, we use accredited laboratory analysis. Providing support from initial site investigation stages through to final client handover. This ensures that waste management and subsequent disposal costs are properly assessed and brokered efficiently. Without this attention to detail, there can be a significant risk to your project. HJL Contracting ltd can provide a Full Waste Management system along with disposal outlets 100% total re-usable for recycling. This enables you, the customer to carry out your project with minimal distraction.

We can appoint a principal contractor or domestic subcontractor, providing a full enabling works package, from site clearance to complete remediation, followed by regulatory sign-off. All levels of training provided from virgin introduction to refresher courses.
Our sister company MRF Supply Chain Ltd specialise in moving wastes for Material Recycling Facilities both input and off-take. We work closely with various disposal sites to ensure sustainable and compliant disposal options for our clients. Moving general wastes such as Black Bag, Mixed Residual Waste ensuring diversion from landfill to Scrap Metals and Gypsum / Plasterboard where we ensure 100% recovery.
